The City of Cupertino is proud to announce that it is launching “buildingeye,” an interactive software system that provides a user-friendly interface for the public to access City records dating back to 2005. The tool can be accessed 24/7 through a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer from home, work, or coffee shop.
“We know that our residents lead busy lives,” Mayor Savita Vaidhyanathan said. “This new tool will save them an extra trip to City Hall to visit our planning and building counter. We expect that buildingeye will improve how our citizens, business owners, and contractors access to planning and building data.”
The tool also allows the public to create alerts that will send email notifications when building and planning permits or applications are posted in specific neighborhoods, or within a fixed 300-foot radius. In addition, buildingeye is updated daily with approximately 2,000 new records added each year. Try this out
