Creekside Park Building

The City of Cupertino welcomes you and your group or family to beautiful Creekside Park. Located in the heart of Cupertino, Creekside offers a small park building that can be reserved for community and family events. City staff is more than willing to answer questions that you might have. We look forward to providing you with a safe, clean, beautiful facility for your upcoming event.

Swings and play equipment are located right next to the building, as well as a small shaded picnic area.









When is the building available to rent?
The building can be reserved year round. The building is available for rental Sunday through Saturday between the hours of 10:00 am and 10:00 pm.

How much does the rental cost?  

Cupertino Non-Profits   $30/Hour
Non-Resident Non-Profit  $48/Hour
Cupertino Residents/Businesses  $48/Hour ($80/Hour for Fri 5pm - Sun)
Non-Residents/Businesses              $60/Hour ($100/Hour for Fri 5pm - Sun)

All rental fees are due 30 days prior to your reservation.  A $100 security deposit is required if food or alcohol is served and is due at the time of reservation. The deposit shall be refunded if no damages occur, room is left in clean condition, and permit concludes on time. 

How do I make a reservation?
Reservations must be completed in person at the Recreation and Community Services Office at the Quinlan Community Center,10185 N. Stelling Rd, Cupertino. No reservations will be taken by phone.

Reservations are accepted Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Reservations are not accepted during evening or weekend hours.

Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. 

Reservation must be a minimum of two hours.  Cupertino residents must provide a current utility bill as proof of residency and non-profit organizations must supply a federal non-profit organization number on letterhead and a 501(c)(3) form at the time of reservation. 

How many people can the building accommodate?
Creekside Park Building can accommodate 50 people.

What is included the reservation?
The City will furnish light, heat, air conditioning, and washroom supplies. Trash cans are also provided. Creekside has 50 chairs and 8 six-foot tables and a kitchen unit for your use. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, sink, refrigerator and freezer.

Can I decorate the building?
Yes. There will be an attendant who will set up the building for you. However, you are responsible for putting up any decorations and all special preparations necessary for your activity. Decorations and delivery of equipment must take place during your permitted reservation time. You may use masking tape to hang decorations. You may not use the following items to hang decorations in the facility: cellophane adhesive tape, nails, staples, thumb tacks, push pins, screws, etc. Decorations must be taken down before the end of the permit.

Is alcohol allowed in the building?
Yes. Wine, beer, and champagne may be served by a reservation group. Hard liquor is not permitted. The serving of alcoholic beverages must be requested at the time reservation application is made. Security staff and commercial general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence is required. 

Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes. You may cancel your reservation up to 30 days prior to your event date. All cancellations must be in writing and submitted to the Parks and Recreation Office. Any cancellation that is made less than 30 days of the rental date will be refunded the deposit, but not paid rental fees.  The City reserves the right to cancel any use of facility upon two (2) weeks advanced notice. Additional Information
Security staff is required when alcohol is served at a rate of $25 per hour. 

Commercial general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence is required when alcohol is served. Please refer to the Liability Insurance page for further information.

Functions exceeding the permitted reservation time shall be charged 1.5 times the associated hourly fee for any time up to the first half-hour, and 1.5 times the associated hourly fee for every half hour thereafter.
