The Cupertino Spelling Bee 2020 is a spelling contest organized by Cupertino Parks and Recreation and is for students in grades 2-5. The purpose of this community event is to give students an educationally enriching opportunity. Please note that our spelling bee is not affiliated with the National Scripps Spelling Bee and we cannot sponsor or send winners to the National Spelling Bee. Spectators:
Spectators must pay a fee of $5 or bring a can of donated food for West Valley Community Services. To pay the fee, you may sign up at www.reg4rec.org.
Most Needed Foods:
- Meals in a Can (Stew, Chili, Soup)
- Tuna/Canned Meat
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Foods with Pop-top Lids
- Box Meals
- 1005 Fruit Juices in Single Serving Boxes
- Canned Fruit in Juice
- Canned Vegetables (low salt)
Please avoid items packed in glass.
Registration:
You may register for the Spelling Bee in 1 of 3 ways:
1. Online Registration. Visit www.reg4rec.org and have your client number and account PIN ready.
- If you do not have an account, please call 408-777-3120 during normal business
hours or email reg4fun@cupertino.org to create an account.
- Pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card.
- Receipts are mailed within 10 working days.
2. Fax. Complete a registration form.
- Include method of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card
- Fax to 408-777-1305
- Receipts are mailed within 10 working days.
3. Walk-In. Visit our office in the Quinlan Community Center at 10185 N. Stelling Road, Cupertino, during these times:
- Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 10:00pm
- Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pm
