Window Art Design 2023The Commission consists of nine members with the intention to include at least one person from each public middle school and public high school in Cupertino, if possible. Membership on the Commission is limited to Cupertino residents. Members may attend schools outside of the City limits, or be schooled at home. Commissioners must be entering grades 8 through 11 to apply. Teen Commissioners serve two-year staggered terms. The powers and functions of the Teen Commission are to advise the City Council and staff on issues and projects important to youth (also see Municipal Code 2.95.080 Powers and Functions).

  • Meeting times:  monthly September through May, second Wednesday at 6 p.m.
  • Term Length: 2 years

Cupertino Cafe

Too distracted to study at home? Is Panera too packed? Come to the semi-annual Cupertino Cafe "The Last Stretch Before Summer"! The Youth Activity Board, together with Cupertino Parks and Recreation, will be opening Cupertino Community Hall for youth to prepare for final exams on May 21 and 22 from 2 to 8 p.m. There will be free food, snacks, and an ice cream sundae bar (while supplies last) to keep your energy up, and games, craft stations, and many more relaxing activities for when you want to take a break! FLEX College Prep tutors will also be available if you need help.
