Elementary/Middle Schools
The Cupertino Union School District serves more than 14,000 students in a 26-square mile area that includes the City of Cupertino. There are nineteen elementary schools and four seventh and eighth grade middle schools within the district.

High Schools
Cupertino's high schools are administered by the Fremont Union High School District. Our schools set themselves apart in quality, proven by the educational achievements of the students, and recognized worldwide for their programs and excellence. 

Post-Secondary Education
Cupertino is honored to host De Anza College, a 112-acre community college with average fall enrollment of approximately 26,000 students. De Anza offers a variety of day, night and weekend classes in nearly 100 fields of study. De Anza is also ranked among the top three community colleges in the United States for the number of Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degrees awarded.

The Cupertino Library is operated by the Santa Clara County Library System.  The library is located at 10800 Torre Avenue, across the plaza from City Hall.  The Library is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The library is closed on Sundays. Public safety services are provided through the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. The Santa Clara County Sheriff's West Valley Division provides Law Enforcement services to the residents of Cupertino.
