Window Art Design 2023The Commission consists of nine members with the intention to include at least one person from each public middle school and public high school in Cupertino, if possible. Membership on the Commission is limited to Cupertino residents. Members may attend schools outside of the City limits, or be schooled at home. Commissioners must be entering grades 8 through 11 to apply. Teen Commissioners serve two-year staggered terms. The powers and functions of the Teen Commission are to advise the City Council and staff on issues and projects important to youth (also see Municipal Code 2.95.080 Powers and Functions).

  • Meeting times:  monthly September through May, second Wednesday at 6 p.m.
  • Term Length: 2 years

Math Olympiad Information Night

An evening dedicated to learning all about the Math Olympiad program! Mr. G. is always excited to bring his high-energy brand of math engagement to students. We will spend a few minutes on registration procedures and then head straight into course specifics for 4th-8th grade participant enrollments. Learn about Math Olympiads class size, grade levels, Division E vs. Division M, Honors and Accelerated sections, Teaching Assistants, course material, teaching philosophy, MOEMS contests, and special events. The evening concludes with a Q and A session during which parents and students can ask questions directly to Mr. G. and the TA's.
