Window Art Design 2023The Commission consists of nine members with the intention to include at least one person from each public middle school and public high school in Cupertino, if possible. Membership on the Commission is limited to Cupertino residents. Members may attend schools outside of the City limits, or be schooled at home. Commissioners must be entering grades 8 through 11 to apply. Teen Commissioners serve two-year staggered terms. The powers and functions of the Teen Commission are to advise the City Council and staff on issues and projects important to youth (also see Municipal Code 2.95.080 Powers and Functions).

  • Meeting times:  monthly September through May, second Wednesday at 6 p.m.
  • Term Length: 2 years

This event is for teens ages 12 to 18. To ensure the safety of all guests, all participants must present a 2023-2024 school ID or other proof of grade or age to be allowed into the event.
