Celebrate Local Cupertino Small Businesses!
On November 16, 2021 Cupertino City Council proclaimed November 27 as Small Business Saturday, reminding the community to support small and local businesses. Approximately 68% of dollars spent at locally owned establishments stays within the Cupertino community, as opposed to only 1% when we shop online.
Small Business Saturday Kicks Off on Tuesday, November 23
The City of Cupertino is teaming up with the Cupertino Library and the Chamber of Commerce to help you get ready for the upcoming Small Business Saturday. This Tuesday, November 23, the Go-Go Biblio will be stationed at the Main Street Shopping Center from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors will be able to check out books, open a new library card for free, learn more about "I Love Cupertino" and City's Climate Action Plan, as well as pick up a cool new "Shop Cupertino" sticker – all while shopping and dining! See you there!
Small Business Saturday® is November 27
Held the day after Black Friday, Small Business Saturday is dedicated to supporting the millions of small businesses that create jobs and boost the economy. For businesses, it's a great opportunity to gain new customers, grow sales, and carry momentum into the holiday shopping season.
More than ever small businesses need our support as they continue to recover from the effects of the pandemic. As you shop during this holiday season, please keep our local businesses in mind. Find local businesses by visiting cupertino.org/openforbusiness. If you are a Cupertino business and want to be added to this list, please reach out to econdev@cupertino.org.
