2024 Cupertino Citywide Community Survey
Since 1998, the City of Cupertino has conducted a Community Survey to get a pulse on overall resident perceptions about living in Cupertino and satisfaction with City services. This survey was typically conducted every two to three years, however the 2020 survey was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and 2017 was the last year that the City conducted a Community Survey.
This year the City has commissioned Godbe Research Associates and McGuire Research, independent research firms, to conduct the survey from November 12 through December 4, 2024. This survey is for Cupertino residents only to share their feedback on City services. City Services are defined as any work or outcome produced by City staff for the Cupertino Community. Examples include maintaining parks and City streets, creating classes or programs at Quinlan or the Senior Center, protecting the environment, and having safe sidewalks and crosswalks.
The survey participants will be selected using a scientific random sample procedure and respondents will be contacted by email, text, or telephone (cell or landline). Phone call and text message communication will originate from a (415) area code. Surveys completed in email or text will be available in English, Chinese, and Hindi. If you are selected as part of the scientific random sample, your individual responses will be entirely confidential and anonymous and will be used for research purposes only. Your individual data will not be sold or provided to anyone. You will not be approached for any other reason - we are only interested in your opinions. This data will help City Council prioritize their goals for the City for the next two years.
Your input is greatly appreciated! For any questions about the survey please email:
