Inspections are required for all permits that are issued. The type and number of inspections required depends on the type of work that is being done. You may request a courtesy inspection using the Courtesy Inspection Request Form.

To ensure the safety of everyone involved in the inspection process you must implement and observe the protocols required by the County of Santa Clara Health Official’s Shelter in Place order. The requirements for small construction sites can be found here Appendix B-1 and for large construction sites here Appendix B-2.

When requesting for an inspection, you will need to provide the permit number, address, type of inspection, desired date of inspection, and contact name, phone number, and email address.

In order to schedule a next day inspection, inspections must be scheduled online or by emailing us at permitcenter@cupertino.org before 3:00pm from Monday through Thursday or before 2:00pm on Friday.

You will receive a confirmation email before 7:30am on the day of your inspection to find out the two-hour time window for your inspection.
