Apple Park Phase 1 Architectural and Site Refinements
In October 2013, the City Council approved Apple’s office, research and development campus over approximately 176 acres. While the architectural design of the main components of the project (main office building, auditorium, fitness center and main parking garage) was approved at the time, the architectural design of some of the components of the project was not complete and therefore, not approved. The City Council did approve the general location and envelope of the buildings at the time, and required as a condition of approval of the project that the applicant finalize the architectural details with appropriate permits. The following application(s) are to finalize the architecture of these structures:
Tantau Parking Garage and Visitor Center
ASA-2015-15, EA-2011-12
The project applicant is requesting an Architectural and Site approval to refine a parking structure and visitor reception area as part of Apple’s previously approved office, research and development campus. The project site is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of N. Tantau Avenue and Pruneridge Avenue.
The project was approved on July 9, 2015 at an Administrative Hearing. Agenda
